Terms of Service

1. The service

Connect Wasl is a shared WhatsApp team inbox and lead-management tool for businesses. It connects to your WhatsApp Business account (via coexistence or migration) to receive, reply to, qualify, organize, and broadcast messages.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be a business (or authorized representative) and at least 18 to use the service.
• You are responsible for your account, your team members' access, and keeping credentials secure. Owner accounts support two-factor authentication, which we recommend enabling.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.

3. Your responsibilities regarding messaging and data

• Consent and lawful basis: You are the controller of the data about your contacts. You are solely responsible for obtaining all necessary consents and having a lawful basis to message your contacts and to collect any information you configure the service to collect (including, where you choose, information relating to minors such as a child's age). You must comply with WhatsApp's and Meta's policies, including opt-in requirements.
• Prohibited use: no spam, no messaging without consent, no unlawful, harmful, or abusive content, no violation of WhatsApp or Meta terms.
• Your contacts: Connect Wasl has no direct relationship with your contacts. You are responsible for your communications with them and for honoring their data rights.

4. WhatsApp, Meta, and messaging costs

• The service runs on the Meta WhatsApp Business Platform. Your use is also subject to Meta's and WhatsApp's terms and policies.
• Messaging fees: As a Meta Tech Provider, Connect Wasl provides software only. Meta charges you directly for your messaging (templates, marketing/utility conversations, messages outside the 24-hour window) at Meta's rates. You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method on your own WhatsApp Business account so your paid messages can be delivered. Connect Wasl does not mark up or resell Meta messaging.
• Connect Wasl is not responsible for Meta's service availability, pricing changes, or account actions taken by Meta against your WhatsApp account.

5. Fees, subscriptions, and the founding offer

• Connect Wasl charges a flat monthly software subscription per account. The current price is SAR 349/month.
• Founding customers: founding-cohort customers receive a free period of 3 months from WhatsApp connection. After the free period, continued use requires an active paid subscription; access to core features is paused until a subscription is active.
• Discounts (for example, cohort coupons) apply as stated at signup and per their stated terms.
• Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel at any time.

6. Acceptable use and suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, fail to pay, or create legal or security risk. We may also suspend if Meta restricts the underlying WhatsApp account.

7. Intellectual property

• Connect Wasl and its software remain our property. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your subscription is active.
• Your data and your contacts' data remain yours (or your contacts'); we process it per the Privacy Policy and DPA.

8. Service availability and changes

• We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we do not provide a service-level agreement (SLA) or uptime guarantee.
• We may modify or discontinue features. Material changes will be communicated.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties to the extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Connect Wasl against claims arising from your misuse of the service, your messaging without consent, or your violation of law or these Terms.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms, and any dispute relating to them or to your use of Connect Wasl, are governed by applicable law. Where a specific governing law or forum is required, it is the one applicable to Connect Wasl LTD. Questions can be sent to info@connectwasl.com.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new effective date and notify you of material changes.
