What is Connect Wasl?
Connect Wasl is a WhatsApp platform for teams in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf, in Arabic and English. Your whole team works from one number. You get a shared inbox, auto-replies, simple automations, a lead board and broadcasts. Enterprise adds AI replies in Arabic. We are an official Meta Tech Provider.
Do I need my own WhatsApp Business API account?
Yes. You use your own Meta business account, and we connect your WhatsApp through it. We are an official Meta Tech Provider, so we handle the setup and you go live fast. Meta business verification is not needed to start, but it raises your sending limits. You pay Meta for messages directly. Since October 2026, the first 1,000 service messages per number each month are free, and we add no markup.
What is a Meta business portfolio, and why do I need one?
It's Meta's free account for your business. Your WhatsApp Business Account and your number live inside it, so they belong to you, not to us. Meta sets your sending limits there. You also add your payment method inside it, so Meta can bill you for messages. We only connect to it with your permission.
How do I get a Meta business portfolio?
You can create one for free while you connect. Click Connect, and Meta's own window opens. Pick your portfolio or create a new one, then add your number and display name. You can also create one first at business.facebook.com. Then add a payment method to your WhatsApp Business Account. You don't need to verify your business to start. Without it, you can start chats with up to 250 customers a day and connect up to 2 numbers. Replies to customers who message you don't count. Verifying your business raises these limits.
Does Connect Wasl work in Arabic?
Yes. The inbox works in Arabic and English. You can write your auto-replies and automations in both, so each customer gets their own language. On Enterprise, AI replies answer in natural Gulf and Saudi Arabic.
Can my whole team use one WhatsApp number?
Yes. Many staff can answer the same number from one shared inbox. Chats get assigned, and a lead board keeps the work in order. There is no fee per user.
Do I pay per user?
No. Standard is SAR 349 a month for your whole team on one number, with no fee per user. Enterprise is SAR 1,499 a month with up to 10 numbers included. Meta bills messaging to you directly, and we add no markup.
Can I keep my existing WhatsApp number?
Yes. You connect your current number and keep using the WhatsApp Business app. Your recent one-to-one chats come with you.
Does it reply to customers automatically?
Yes. On every plan, an instant auto-reply greets new leads. Simple automations ask your questions and pass the customer to your team. On Enterprise, an AI assistant also answers from your business details and passes the chat to a person when needed.
Will my team get notified on their phones?
Yes. With the Connect Wasl app for iPhone and Android, your team gets a phone notification when a new customer message arrives, when a chat is assigned to them, and when an automation hands a customer over.
What happens if a message fails or WhatsApp disconnects?
We save new messages before we tell Meta we got them. If something goes wrong, we try again on our own, up to 7 times in total. If a number loses its link to WhatsApp, the owner sees an alert to reconnect it. For broadcasts, you see who didn't get the message and why.
